From Lawyer to PT...

Before I became a personal trainer, I spent 16 years working as a lawyer. During my years in the corporate world, I experienced the challenges of juggling a high pressure job and being a mum. However, it was my diagnosis of breast cancer in 2014 that finally pushed me towards qualifying as a PT.

Moving from law into fitness was a radical change but it made complete sense for me, given my lifelong passion for exercise and healthy eating. I could see that so many people struggle with lack of motivation and don’t quite know where to start. And when they do start exercising, consistency is the biggest challenge. For many people feeling stronger, fitter and healthier seems like an unachievable dream. I knew I could help them make that dream a reality by working with them to improve their fitness, strength and overall health. I love nothing more than a client finishing their session feeling energised and ready to face whatever the day throws at them!

My specialisms

Strength & Fitness for Midlife & Beyond

I have years of experience working with midlife and older clients. Strength training is vitally important for this stage of life but so many people don’t know where to start or are worried about making existing aches and pains worse. That’s where I can help with my technical expertise and practical experience.

Mobility & Functional Movement

I’ve worked with dozens of clients who struggle with pain and mobility due to conditions including ostearthritis, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia . My aim is to help bring more activity and functional movement into their lives through tailored and balanced exercise sessions which improve overall strength, mobility and stability.

Cancer Rehab & Prehab

My own journey with breast cancer inspired me to qualify as a Level 4 Cancer rehab and prehab specialist. Exercise has incredible benefits wherever you are in your cancer journey, not only for your physical health but it can also really help your mental and emotional wellbeing.
